Project Yellowstone’s J-Etna™ is a low order explosive EOD tool intended specifically for the Humanitarian Mine Action (HMA) community.

Based on the Vulcan™ for its performance but utilising a binary liquid explosive filling, of which neither of the two parts are individually classified as explosive, they are both supplied with charges but only mixed as and when required.

The purpose of this binary liquid explosive, known as Alfords Liquid Explosive (ALX™) is to overcome the unique challenges in obtaining, storing and moving explosives which are encountered on HMA operations.
